Our Artists
Belinda Maria Longsden
Belinda's artwork is based on memory and familiarity. She uses recurring themes that link each piece to the next. The way the artwork is realised is not important as long as it conveys the message intended. Pattern and form play a strong role, which is a theme repeated in the kaleidoscope series, built from images found in encyclpedias sourced at local charity shops. Found objects also take on new roles with some of their former use embedded within. Camouflage also plays a big part and can be found in her Camo series built with layers of acrylic and oil paint with collaged images.
Loz Taylor

Clare Wassermann
Clare loves the idea of building layer upon layer in paint, memories and experience. Some paintings have ten or even twenty layers built up and most are in response to her meditation and yoga practice. All are a pure celebration of her external and internal landscape. Juxtaposition of edges and colour combinations excite her.
She uses recurring symbols that have meaning to her and sometimes words in her layers, building up and letting go of images as she works. Sometimes she works in fabric and stitch for even more texture. She uses her intuition, as far as possible, to take her on the journey towards a final balance point. This art practice becomes a metaphor for life.
Loz Bee
Veiled in mystery Loz Bee is an artist who cares about the conservation of bees. Loz practises entomology using the delicate little creatures found lifeless on pavements and under bushes whilst out walking. The imitable bee chariots have been designed from the secret imagination Loz Bee and each one has been carefully forged by hand. Beautiful bees are brought to life depicted riding and driving their own miniature vehicle.
Celebrated in Fine Art Guild standard limited edition prints using archival inks, conservation mounts and finest quality art paper, each of these sort after unique pieces wants to fly onto your wall.
No bees have been harmed in the making of this work and Loz supports the conservation of bees.
James Woodall
As a self-confessed movie geek whose world is full of comics and paraphernailia, James' work is a reflection of the time spent studying rockstars and Hollywood icons and accompanying legends that are bound to them. In an age where the line between Icon and character is more blurred than ever, the image of the icon offers so much more, as both a beautiful front and a reflection of what lies beneath the mask of fame. His work focuses on bold styalised expression, reflecting the chosen subjects' energy and character quirks. He loves the concept of a classic image immortalised forever where age and time take no effect. His work constantly evolves where the finished pieces exhibit a texture and depth invoking a tactile response.
Experimenting with a new medium he has produced a small collection exploring watercolour and has loved the immediacy and unpredictability of the medium. He has recently exhibited and sold work at Banana Gallery's "Jumpstart" show in Wolverhampton.
